  We found our fur baby Bruno at Top Dog Store in October 2017 and he is the most wonderful addition to our family. The puppies are well loved there and have lots of friends to play with until they are adopted (which doesn’t seem to take long), and it really is a fun place to visit. Marly was wonderful and full of information, tips, and advice. We left feeling as confident as we could have been in the situation.

  One of the only pet stores that refuses to work with rescues and instead supports puppy mills. It's 2018, most of Canada doesn't even allow cats & dogs to be sold in stores, let alone from puppy mills. Deletes comments and questions regarding breeding practices, has reviews hidden on forums. Clearly filters reviews here to cover their tracks. Just shady. Go to a rescue, you'll save a ton of money, save a life, and not support these shady ethics.

  The wife and I adopted a Havanese puppy from Top Dog this week. We were looking for a puppy so getting a rescue dog was not in the cards. The store was very clean and all the puppies we saw were very well cared for. The staff was friendly, informative and very patient while we decided which pup would be the best choice for us. This was not an easy decision and the staff was very helpful answering all our questions.

  Thank you very much to the wonderful, helpful staff who made our experience a great one. Even follow up phone calls , offer their time to discuss any questions or concerns you may have, and of course their knowledge and help to make you and your puppy their first priority.

  It has been almost year since we adopted our puppy from Top Dog. She has turned out to be a wonderful addition to our family. She is playful, well mannered and healthy. We also adopted a rescue dog after getting our Top Dog. He has has fear issues but has bonded with our playful Top Dog. She has been a huge help in getting our rescue dog over his fears and making him whole. Kudos to Top Dog for providing a wonderful little pooch.

  Couldn't be happier. And no, they don't support puppy mills. I called several vets in Calgary to get their opinion on this this store before getting my puppy here, and they all said that Top Dog is an honest business that works with reputable breeders. I get why some people don't like the idea of a dog 'store' but there's nothing to worry about here.

  We are truly happy with The Top Dog Store ! We brought home a beautiful, gorgeous, healthy puppy and I cannot tell you how much we love him. We named him Duke and he is the most wanted dog in the neighborhood ! My friends,my kids’ friends they all adore Duke❤️
