  Fantastic staff, very knowledgeable. Everyone here is amazing, friendly, helpful. Very enjoyable place to be when you are in pain, recovering from an injury or surgery. I cannot say enough good things about being here. I am currently on my third injury in 3 years, and as much as I enjoy the people here, I'm hoping to not see them for a little while after this injury is healed!

  After 12 months of chronic pain in my SI joints and every test you can think of (MRI, CT, BONE SPEC, XRAY, ULTRASOUNDS, NUCLEAR IMAGING, XRAY GUIDED INJECTIONS, BLOOD LABS, ALOT OF HOSPITAL VISITS) - there is hope. I lost that. But it found me. I was hurdling towards alcohol and prescription drug abuse because I could not cope with the onset of pain from my joints that would radiate and throb past my knees to my feet. It never let up. The continual, 24/7, agonizing pain never let me sleep (I would wake every night from pain, for hours unable to fall back asleep). I could barely walk, sit, stand or even simply relax. I have seen numerous doctors and specialists. I almost didn't show up to my physiotherapy appointment out of utter despair. I rate my pain one being one, ten being excruciating. My life was saved. I could barely walk going in. I sat down not wanting to even be touched. Stoned and miserable from the medication and pain my therapist, Darcy, asked if a joint stabilizer belt had ever been tried. Looking down, I shook my head no. So after some time, heat and EMS, he fits me into this belt. I'm terrified that it won't work. The pain had control over my mind and spirit. He held me up stable. Once done, he had to encourage me to even walk a few steps. I walk to the end of the bed, pretend I'm better, but he wants me to go further. I look back. Shake my head no because I'm so scared of the pain. That week my rating had been a seven and it was getting worse by the day. And I had already taken 3 tylenol threes with codeine and it was only 10am, I was up at 7:30am. He keeps encouraging me, so I take a breath and very slowly I take a step, and another, and another. I end up at the large mirror in their gym. I look at myself standing there, no pain. He walks over, starts to explain the support my joints needed, and before I can even understand my emotions in their entirety, 12 months erupted out of me, I took the deepest breath I have ever taken without strain, and I start to cry, and cry and cry. With overwhelming relief and gratitude, I thank him. Living with chronic pain is absolute hell. As I walk out of the building, I breathe deeply. No longer strained or short, I sat in my car and cried even harder. Thank you Darcy. I slept like a baby my first night and actually got a full rest. My feet are sensitive and my circulation has drastically improved. My quality of life is back. Hold On, Pain Ends. Thank you for being my hope.

  I have been attending Panther Sports Medicine at the Trico location for 10 years off and on for various issues. Darcy Doyle has been my physio therapist throughout this time. The staff are always professional, efficient and very accommodating. I have recommended Darcy over the years and have heard wonderful feedback about the service provided by him and the clinic staff in general. I have also seen Roxanne for therapeutic massage and found it more effective than I have others in the past. I feel confident in recommending Panther Sports Medicine at Trico for everyone and anyone seeking physiotherapy or therapeutic Massage.
