My husband and I found this place by accident. The HAPPIEST of accidents. The food was unbelievable. The coffee is bottomless and for good reason. I don’t even like coffee and I got it to go and bought 3 bags. It’s super quaint. Good vibes , great food. Ali (sp?) was absolutely splendid. Everything you’re looking for in a dining out experience!

The Dairy Lane has been a fixture in the neighbourhood for an age, and is deserving of the highest honours. Socially responsible, locally sourced, and just friggin' delicious. Cannot recommend enough.

This place can get pretty damn busy, but the food is consistently good or even great! I hear the shakes are to die for and the burgers are some of the best in town, but alas, I have only had brunch here. Prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for quality-wise. Ambience is relaxed and chill. The washrooms were spotless here, as opposed to a few of the other diners/cafes I've been to in town.

Fantastic place to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly staff who are always welcoming. I eat here often and recommend to everyone.

It was already around 9 am on a Sunday by the time I got there and they have notoriously long line ups but I had no problem getting parking or a seat. They have some interesting items on their breakfast menu which I have sampled and enjoyed before but that morning I just ordered bacon and eggs. I didn't read carefully. The bacon portion added $5. Yikes. Anyway, it was kind of disappointing. Slightly rubbery eggs. The bacon was cooked well but it had a mild liver taste to it. Okay but not my favorite style of bacon. The hash browns were quite unexceptional. Over salted. The coffee was strong enough (I can't abide weak coffee) but had a taste to it that I can only describe as vaguely industrial. Percolated? I had orange juice as I always do. That was good and the toast was nice. But with an 18% tip it was closing in on $30. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. It wasn't a bad breakfast, not at all, but is sure wasn't worth $25 plus dollars and it didn't rise to the standard of other meals that I have enjoyed there in years past.
