  The school also serves pretty great food, and the prices are pretty decent. The quality and taste of the food is great, they just lack menu choices. The school also has 3 vending machines, which is pretty great.

  What happened to this school? Back in 2011, it was a great school. Since I left Samuel W Shaw in June 2011 the school has more complaints.

  and most of the teaching was unsatisfactory. Certain teachers would be unable to hold their tongue's for more than three minutes, often having mental breakdowns in front of classes. The options were haphazardly, and attending them/ or doing any work was not needed to get a good grade. In comparison to other schools in the city, I think you would find better staff and students in Dover or NE Calgary.

  The space in the hallways is also small, but this is due to construction, which we can't really change, unless we have a renovation. After & before school, it would be a bit hard to get in/out of the locker area.

  Education at Samuel W. Shaw is alright. We would do projects every now and then, but at the time, we didn't receive too much homework.

  In general, this is a pretty great school. They do have some methods of trying to fix bullying issues, they have a great cafeteria, the gym is pretty big, and there's some other great things about the school.

  Samuel W. Shaw School is a pretty great school! I've been at this school for 2 years of my education, and its a pretty amazing place!

  One thing the school lacks is the lockers. The lockers are really small and you really don't have much room since there's somebody under/above you, and there's people right beside you on both sides.

  The school does have some good technology such as; 3D printer, lots of computers in the Learning Commons, etc.

  As a student here I say this school sucks because of the teachers. All they do is sit on there butts. I have ADHD and the teachers treat me different. They don't do anything about bullies they just talk to the kid. They act like the best school when their not. It sucks and my best friend got kicked out for spraying juice on another student. But he is the one who attacked her.

  Went to this school when it opened - super friendly teachers, some of the best I've ever had, and it was neat having so much technology available to us. Only thing is that the courses were a bit easy, so high schools didn't expect much from graduates and expected to need to teach us a lot of information. Have heard it's been going downhill in recent years as well and turning into a worse school, but I can only speak for it's first 4 years. Not a bad middle school overall imo, if only for the fantastic staff and grounds.
